BRW Architects and the University of Dallas were recognized by the City of Irving Parks & Recreation Department Advisory Board in their 2014 Awards Program on Monday, December 8^th, 2014.   The award ceremony highlighted the new Vilfordi Plaza and University of Dallas Campus Gateways as the recipient of the sole Irving Beautification Award for 2014. The award was given by the Irving Director of Parks and Recreation, Mr. Ray Cerda during a ceremony in Irving City Hall. Robert Galecke, Executive Vice President of the University of Dallas accepted the award and acknowledged the efforts of the design team in attendance, Patrick Daly, University of Dallas, Doug Hankins of BRW Architects, and Lynn Carpenter, Landscape Designer. The gateway project was completed in 2014 and provided a public identity at the key perimeters and entries of the Irving based campus.
