BRW team member, Dale Hogue has been involved with Hearts and Hammers for over 15 years now, serving the last two years on the Council.  The Council oversees a group of homes that have been Identified by the City of Dallas Housing Authority, People Helping People program.

Each year the home selection process takes place in late spring.  Conducted by the council and city representatives through a series of interviews, prospective homeowners have to qualify for the remedial work that will bring their property to city standards.  Working with the homeowners, Hearts and Hammers then completes the work in September.

This year H&H assisted a total of 48 homeowners.  Dale’s team assisted with seven homes in the far South Dallas area and included Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Civic organizations.
