“Our environments shape us. They are the set of circumstances in which “where” becomes a combination of “what,” “when,” and “how” in answer to “why.” Though we often don’t know to ask ourselves that question until someone or something asks it of us. I was born and raised in Dallas. It’s the only home and city I’ve ever known. Recently I had to go to New York for business, and then shortly after that I found myself in Paris. Needless to say, they’re quite different cities than Dallas- different experiences. What I really took away from both of those experiences was the knowledge that my mind has been shaped to be quite claustrophobic…”
