The Lamar University Softball program is on the rise, and BRW is here to help.  Softball has been absent from Lamar University’s campus since 1987.  Under the direction of Athletic Director Jason Henderson, and with the infectious energy of Coach Holly Bruder, the University saw their first softball season again in 2013.  BRW is thrilled to have the opportunity to help build the program by designing a brand new field; complete with field lighting, dugouts, bullpens, and grandstands.

Located right off of highway 287 / 69, the stadium will be clearly visible from the road and a marketing opportunity for the softball program and the University. Designed with seating up to 650 with plans for a future grass berm to seat an additional 250, the goal is to have the newest stadium in the Southland Conference, with the second highest seating capacity.  This will allow the University to host large tournaments and NCAA Division 1 conference games.
