Several members of the BRW Retrospect team attended Dallas AIA’s Garden party last night at Breadwinner’s Café in Northpark Center. The event celebrated the work of all the firms that contributed to the retrospect exhibit.
The evening proved to be the perfect time to visit with our friends in and connected to the architecture community. Everyone seemed to enjoy listening to the band and unwinding from the daily architectural grind. Still, it did not go unnoticed by this marketing girl that most of the talk centered on work and shared project concerns.

One highlight of the event was that our own Lori Lampe took second place in the Retrospect Poster contest. Congratulations, Lori! It is always nice to see some of the things that fellow BRW folks are working on and receiving accolades for.
Before the end of the night, they announced all the raffle and door prizes. Was it a coincidence that our principal AND Dallas AIA president-elect Lisa Lamkin, AIA won an ipad? I spoke with her afterwards and she claims she is just lucky.
The party was a great success and a victorious night for BRW. It was especially nice to go by and see our exhibit one more time. If you have not had a chance, please do so before it is taken down this Sunday.
