BRW was recently invited to help celebrate official grand opening celebration for the University of Dallas’ newly renovated Haggar Café. The evening began with small group tours of the cafeteria and surrounding newly renovated areas of the building. Construction on the cafeteria was completed in an accelerated schedule in order to be ready for the start of classes at the end of August. It was especially gratifying for all involved in the project to see the completed cafeteria and adjacent spaces.
After the tours were completed, there were drinks and refreshments while the President of the University, Thomas Keefe, spoke of his extreme pride in the finished product that he was able to showcase to new and returning students of the University.
As I was attending the celebration as an alumnus, surrounded by several members of my family who also attended and currently work with and for the University of Dallas, I was proud to introduce my fellow co-workers and describe to my family exactly what part each had in the renovation of the space.
