As designers, we tend to push boundaries…to experiment…to design in a way that inspires us. Often times it is hard to get the entire team behind such ideas – even when it is something as innocuous as a paint color. On a recent project, a vibrant paint color was chosen as an exterior accent, for an otherwise neutral color palette. The Client was courageous enough to “trust the Architect”, though weary of this particular color. Now constructed, the building takes on a personality it might not have had without such a bold color statement. Having a Client put his trust in an Architect is a victory worth celebrating!
